Toronto has certaintly taken a stand with Ukraine and the Ukrainian people. My grandfather was born here, in a small city called Kremenchuk. This is a protest outside the consulate. You can see CityTv and other mainstream news reporters. Canadians are not too happy with what Putin did to Ukraine, causing millions of people to face danger. President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau who was on a visit to our country. During the negotiations, the parties discussed Canada’s support for our state in the struggle for independence and territorial integrity, as well as a number of bilateral issues. “The people of Ukraine and Canada stand side by side in the struggle for freedom against tyranny that Russia is trying to spread,” Volodymyr Zelenskyy said during a meeting with media representatives following negotiations with Justin Trudeau.
As said previously, the main branch is located in Ottawa while this office provides consular services.
